Our Cruise Trip- Day 2 @ Penang

Today was the 1st port-of-call of our trip: Penang. The small town was recently listed under UNESCO World Heritage Site due to their architecture n history, of cos there is more!

Had a Buffet Lunch before we could go step on Penang soil.. we chose to sit @ the open-air tables to enjoy e breeze!

Time to set off!! Since Penang's waters were too shallow, we had to take a Tender Boat from our ship which would ferry us to Penang jetty, just less than 10min away.. Boy, first time experiencing this way of disembarking.. so cool lor..

Though nth much of shopping to do in Penang except for eating local food, it was a good experience nevertheless.. :)Time to say goodbye to Penang.. But PHUKET here we come early e nex day!!!!

Our Cruise Trip- Day 1 @ SG

Overdue post yet again.. im so lazy but its been days since we came back fr our cruise trip.. haha here it is!

Went onboard feeling excited- dont noe wats it gg to be like for the next 3 days! Our day 1 activities on board Virgo, let pictures do more of e talking!

Hello Penang & Phuket!!!

In less than 24hrs, we will be going on a 4D3N Cruise Trip on Superstar Virgo!!! Cruise departs on Sun 3pm n returns on Wed 7pm, cant wait :)

It will be just us and mum this time.. cos she managed to get us last minute tickets.. hurray!! hmmm all of us nv been on such a long cruise before, and this time we are still able to disembark at the 2 ports of call.. which means able to visit Penang first den Phuket for a short while, short enough to leave memories i guess, most imptly, nv been to these places :):)!

Muffins-Baking + Our Mthly Anniversary *20 04 2009*

Yesterday was our monthly anniversary.. but fatty was still having exams so we didnt do anything much. But since im super duper free.. i decided to do some baking... so many yummy recipies i want to try n now i have all e time in e world.. 

Decided on baking muffins cos it seems kinda easy..

ingredients for e day

1st batch: Choc chip muffins

2nd batch: Banana choc chip muffins

Well.. e muffins look nt too bad rite.. but recipie still needs improvement cos they tasted light upon finishing baking.. but after a while it becomes a tad too hard when cold :( i dont like cos e fluffy texture is gone :( but tastewise, nt too bad or sweet :) at least didnt fail that miserably on my 1st attempt!!

More baking to come for sure cos im not giving up... those nice kind ppl ard me pls bear with being my guinea pigs.. hehe wats next??

Yikess!!!

the current situation in Bangkok is driving me/us/whole bkk gang crazy :( We want to go sooo badly, yet e situation swings from calm to violences in a couple of days..! Really really hope those protesters just sit back for this whole period.. till after our departure date.. Argh!! nevertheless.. shopping in bkk still remains so attractive & tempting to me.. somemore this time will be gg with frens so its even more more fun! dont want our itinerary planning to go to waste :(

On another matter.. fatty has completed 2 papers.. wheee! 3 more to go n its a good well-deserved break for him! n myself.. officially another unemployed graduate in the oh-so-gloomy job mkt!! Well.. looking forward to HK-Macau.. and BKK(if everything returns to normal)...
